Jeremy J. Mills
Jeremy J. Mills lives near Birmingham in the United Kingdom with his wife of over forty years, Chris.
After a long and varied career—beginning in corporate sales and marketing, followed by running his own small hotel, and later a successful mobility hire and sales business in Tenerife—he has gathered a lifetime of experiences that now inspire his writing.
Having returned to the UK to enjoy retirement, Jeremy finally turned his attention to storytelling, something he had long intended to do. Over the past five years, he has devoted himself to writing The Sorrell Legacy, a trilogy that tells a sweeping family saga spanning more than a century, up to almost 2020.
His debut novel, Sorrell's Gold, traces the journey of a young Polish émigré who builds a fortune in England, setting the stage for a gripping multi-generational story of ambition, intrigue and hidden secrets—including what may be the biggest gold heist never uncovered. The series continues with Chilton's Luck, which examines how a huge change in circumstances affects the main characters and how one of them builds his fortune. The third book, Elsa's End Game, explores how a previously unknown man, now the richest in the world, reacts to the potential threats of artificial intelligence and robotics in the early 2000s, using his wealth to help save the human race.
